Guide to posting opportunities on your talent marketplace

Welcome! Here’s some guidance for posting opportunities on your talent marketplace.

1. Press 'Post Opportunity on your marketplace

Note that only company admins will see this button. It may also appear as 'Post Job' or something else, depending if your company has customised the terminology.

2. Complete the 'Post new opportunity' form

You have multiple options for completing this: 

  1. Posting a URL to the role if available and our AI will import the role detail and branding and also interpret the skills required for the role
  2. Paste the text about the role description and our AI will import the role details and branding (if available) and interpret the skills required for the role
  3. You can complete the form fields

When you post a new role you can choose whether to post it under your company's branding or another brand (eg if the role is at an external employer).

You can also choose whether you would like the applications to be directed. It can be:

  1. Here on Spacewalk for you and your fellow admins to review and contact the applicants
  2. To your company's applicant tracking system (ATS), if available
  3. To the external company's ATS, if relevant

Once you ready, simply press 'Publish'.

3. What happens next

As soon as you press 'Publish' the following things happen: 

  1. The role appears on your talent marketplace
  2. Relevant talent on your marketplace are instantly notified
  3. Talent can apply for the roles and will be directed according to how you set up the role in the step above.
  4. You and your admins will be able to view who applied for the roles on your marketplace
